Lathlain Precinct Redevelopment Project – Victoria Park

Victoria Park Shire has long identified Lathlain Precinct as an area for enrichment and revitalisation. The Lathlain Precinct Redevelopment Project (LPRP) is now in the Town's Strategic Community Plan as a priority project. There are eight project zones that make up the LPRP. These eight zones will undergo redevelopment and /or rebirth; one of the development zones is the Lathlain Place Streetscape zone.
Council endorsed the Lathlain Place Concept Plan in February 2014. The plan sets the overall context for upgrading the Lathlain Place streetscape. Its role is to provide a vision of what the streetscape upgrade may look like in the future. The concept plan has now progressed through detailed design and is nearing completion in 2015.
Through the project the Town intends to achieve its vision: "Victoria Park / Vibrant Lifestyle", with the central premise to help make Lathlain a more focal and vibrant place.
